Kid Millions
If you've been to a few experiment/noise shows within the past couple of years, chances are you've run into Kid Millions behind the kit. With countless projects, including the seminal Oneida, drone orchestra Man Forever (an insturctional video for the unfamiliar), Matter Waves, & White Hills to name a few, he's more than established his rep as one of the most prolific drummers in Brooklyn. Kid was kind enough to compile an eclectic sampling of some of his favorites from the archives for us. - LC

Michael McGregor
Known to many as the man behind Chocolate Bobka, McG has weighed in on countless albums and tracks throughout the years, proving to us all that he is a true curator of dope jams. He has also been known to have thrown a few certifiable bangers at Shea (highlights to some of which are included below) This time, he leaves the party behind in favor of some serious zen-like slow burners. 2/3 of his list include tracks that exceed 10-minutes in length, not to mention the inclusion of two full sets by Lucky Dragons and Co La. It's obvious that McGregor is no stranger to getting in the zone. Quite recently, he also graced our stage with his super chill synth-soundscape project Meadowlands, of which he is the sole proprietor. Stay tuned for that one to appear in the archives soon, but until then dig on this list: - AR

Davey Jones
Davey Jones is a man hard to confuse for anyone else. With his own unique style & unmistakable voice, you may recognize him as the frontman Brooklyn's very own Lost Boy (subject of a Shea Du Jour late last year). A staple of Shea since the early days of 2009, Lost Boy has an unmistakable sound - no doubt in part because of Jones' slick guitar and impressive tenor. They're in a rare class of bands where you can tell that their music is a complete extension of their personal style - a sort of 90s inspired commercial psychedelia translated to a perfect mix of pop, punk rock and noise. Davey Jones shows off his equally impressive musical taste in this stacked playlist, compiled lovingly for your listening pleasure. -LC

Colin Langenus
One of the great DIY musicians of our time, Colin and his face-melting guitar licks have been a fixture in the New York City underground for close to a decade. After touring extensively for years with his seminal band USAISAMONSTER, he has since spread out his musical stylings in a major way. You can find him tearing it up at Shea these days on a fairly regular basis with a multitude of different projects, but most often as the bandleader of two very different large ensembles: the CSC Funk Band and his own Colin L Orchestra, as well as his acid rock power trio Alien Whale (all of which can be heard in our archives). If you total all of his various projects with all the friends that he has met along the way, Colin has been involved with the release of over 100 records to date, the vast majority of which have been put out by his homegrown MASSIVE DISTRIBUTION label. Given this information, it should come as no surprise that he contributed a playlist as thorough and as massive as his own creative output. -AR
